Habs VS Avalanche

After losing their 6th game in a row Saturday against the New Jersey Devils, the Canadiens (26-34-6) will try to defeat the former Stanley cup champions, the Colorado Avalanche (36-22-6) on Monday at Bell Center.

Montreal

Montreal lineup’s will be very similar to the one that they had on Saturday against the Devils.

  • 32- Rem Pitlick 14- Nick Suzuki 25- Denis Gurianov
  • 68- Mike Hoffman 27- Jonathan Drouin 17- Josh Anderson
  • 49- Rafael Harvey-Pinard 67- Chris Tierney 56- Jesse Ylonen
  • 55- Michael Pezzetta 60- Alex Belzile 90- Anthony Richard

Avalanche

The roster of the Colorado Avalanche features a few more former members of the team. Lars Eller was added at the deadline, and the game will also be the first one back at the Bell Centre for Artturi Lehkonen who has been traded last year at the Deadline. He will probably be well received by the fans due to the fact that he has always been a hard worker during his time in Montreal. As you guys may know, he sent the Canadiens to the championship final in 2021. He also did the same thing for his new team in 2022!

The great 62

Remember that the Canadiens received defenseman prospect Justin Barron and a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft for the forward.

My Prediction

I’m convinced that the Avalanche will win this one. They are an absolute wagon train and I cannot see a world where the Canadiens can upset them. Following this, my prediction would be: 5-1 Avalanche. Lehkonen with a goal and an assist on a Rantanen goal! I would like to see Kayden Guhle scores for Montreal. Enjoy the game guys and don’t forget:

Suck hard for Bedard.
